Uma Thurman Takes happens for Five-Episode Arc on NBC's Smash

Uma Thurman Uma Thurman has signed on for just about any five-episode arc on NBC's approaching musical series Smash, the network introduced Thursday. Smash follows the page-to-stage journey from the Broadway musical based on Marilyn Monroe's existence, within the perspectives in the authors, producers, company company directors and stars involved. The cast includes Debra Playing, Anjelica Huston and also the The American Idol Show Show runner-up Katharine McPhee, among others. Bernadette Peters and Nick Jonas to guest-star on Smash Thurman, 41, will portray a famous (but somewhat difficult) celebrity who sights starring in Marilyn, the imaginary musical within the series. An Oscar nominee for Pulp Fiction, Thurman is much better recognized for her roles in Kill Bill, Vol. 1 and two and Batman & Robin. She'll next are available in the big-screen adaptation in the book Eloise in Paris. Watch clips from Smash Smash premieres on Monday, Feb. 6 at 10/9c on NBC.
